About Our Puppies

Our puppies are raised in our home where they can be part of family interaction. As the puppies grow and mature, they are introduced to other people, our older dogs, various challenge activities and enrichment toys using Puppy Culture Protocols.  From 3-16 days we practice Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) which involves mild forms of stimulation in order to “stress” the puppies. It has been established that by stimulating the puppies during the first two weeks of life they mature faster and have better problem solving abilities. At around 4-5 weeks we start clicker training the puppies. They learn the basics; focused attention, sit, down, walk on a leash. All puppies will have age appropriate vaccinations, tails docked, dew claws removed, been wormed with documentation of a negative fecal exam, started on heart worm preventative, a veterinary health exam and microchipped. 

Our breeding stock has been BAER (hearing) tested, have passed annual CERF (eye) exams and have tested CLEAR for DM (Degenerative Myelopathy). In addition, their parents are PLL (Primary Lens Luxation) clear and SCA ( Canine Spinocerebellar Ataxia) clear, so they are clear by descent.
